Other Specialist Systems

Audio-Frequency Induction Loop Systems - allowing people with hearing difficulties to hear more clearly. Most hearing aids have a ‘T’ or ‘MT’ switch which allows them to pick up the electromagnetic field generated by an induction loop system. The hearing aid converts this signal into a sound suited to its user’s specific hearing requirements. Any person with a hearing aid positioned within or near the loop can hear the loop signal by switching their hearing aid to the correct position, allowing them to participate more effectively in general conversation, ordering goods and services or listening to public performances.

Staff Attack Systems – can be used to provide an alarm signal and warning when a member of staff is being attacked or requires assistance. Fixed alarm points can be positioned in strategic locations or individual transmitters can be given to staff or visitors. When activated an alarm signal is generated and the location of the alarm can be displayed on the control points.  For larger sites we can provide a 'head end' graphics software package showing the alarm activation on a site plan.

Water Leak Detection – early warning of a water leak is essential to data centres, hospital records rooms, art galleries and other rooms or spaces storing expensive valuables, irreplaceable property or equipment considered mission critical to an operation. BLE Security are able to design systems to monitor for water leaks to provide the early warning necessary to enable speedy and effective action. In many cases the alarm signal can be reported to other systems such as the intruder or fire alarm. If one of these systems has the benefit of remote monitoring to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) then the key holder or building manager can be made aware of the situation even if the building is closed or they are not on site.

Fire Telephone - the fire telephone is used by fire officers or building management during an emergency. It provides a fire resilient means of direct communication between those in different locations of a building and a responsible and trained person at the control console. There is also a ‘conference call’ and an ‘all call’ facility built into the system.

Voice & Data Networks – as more and more security systems are migrated onto dedicated voice and data networks the need grows for networks to be specifically designed with this in mind. As a result BLE Security have continued to invest in training and growing partnerships with leading manufacturers so that we are now able to provide networks using copper, fibre optic, fire rated and wireless networks. This gives the client a single point of contact for the delivery of the project as a whole.
